• Site Feedback - What's One Thing We Could Improve?

Hi all! I'm the founder of Jatra, the platform that powers the DMTWorld Community.

I'm working closely with @rambling-rabbit to make this community easier to use, more welcoming and more useful for everyone here.

I'd love you honest feedback. What's one thing we could improve on this site to make your experience better?

    It could be anything:

    • finding discussions

    • posting new thread

    • replying to others

    • navigating the site

    • understanding where to start

    • using the site on mobile

    • notifications

If anything felt confusing or slow - please let me know.

The platform will soon have onboarding flows and improved layout.

No need for a long answer. Even one sentence helps. Thank you for being a part of the new DMTWorld.

Actually yeah, I wasn't paying attention to the post and only the comment, was going to delete my original comment and try some of the things listed but it appears I can't delete the comment so maybe that? If not that then the ability to edit comments/posts/messages.

@0w1 - We've a dedicated feedback section so that we can openly track feedback and others can comment on it. I've made a note of your feedback already.

    Post Editing:

Posts are editable for certain timeframe. This is because on most of the communities, spammers make a harmless post first; but come back after 4-5 days and add spam links. Those are difficult to detect.

As discussed with @rambling-rabbit - we're working on AI moderator that should help take care of such cases; without disturbing the experience for members.

Push notifications and PWA are already being tested in private beta. Should be available to DMTWorld really soon. I'm expecting about ~2 weeks before we release it.

PWA (Progressive Web App) - offers native app-like experience without downloading the app. Once release, members should be able to save the app on their mobile.

Push Notifications: Coming really soon on DMTWorld. Just trying to figure out how to balance notifications without overwhelming users šŸ˜€ .

Hey, the site looks incredible and so far for me ( IOS ) laptops and iPhones it's running flawlessly.

I noticed on the other site someone asked about Friend Requests, is there gonna be a feature like that or is everyone just in it together?

I'm glad it's working nice for you.

Friend Requests: TBH, not on our roadmap as of now. But I'm willing to explore how could this be useful. The direct messaging feature already lets you accept / ignore messages from fellow members.

I'd love to welcome ideas on how the friendships feature could work.

Yea, was thinking the same to be honest. Everyone can already access each other if they want. I seen someone post about it and just thought I’d ask mate

The only reason I like the idea of being able to friend someone is because it can be an easy access to someone we might be looking for. On the old site, I would sometimes scroll though my friends list to see who I havent heard from in a while and just post a comment on their wall to let them know I was thinking about them.

Hey, Just a thought but can there be a feature to edit a post after it's been posted? Might be good for spelling and grammar if someone is pernickety about that šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤£

This is on the task list. Post editing will be available only for a limited time after it's created. I'm hoping to release it by the end of this week.

Excellent mate, what's the time scale to edit?

    TheBigK

    @thebigk Jun 30, 2026

@quirky-desert - The plan is to keep the time-frame short. About 5-10 minutes. In most of the communities, spammers create a harmless post and get mod's approval. But return after a few days to edit and add spam / advertisement links.

We're working on an AI mod system that'll catch behavior - while allowing seamless editing updating experience to users. For now, time-limited editing ability seems to be the workable solution.

The friending question brought up some old memories of my friend we called Burnt Bradel. Anyone here remember him? He was pretty special.... to say the least.

With that said, can we or will we be able to block someone from seeing our comments and posts to avoid the trolls that will inevitably find us?

That Bradel dude was an absolute nightmare to deal with.

The new DMTWorld is an open community; which means most of the content is visible. Only the content added in private channel is hidden from everyone without access.

So even if the user is blocked, they can still logout and view publicly shared content.

Just another thought, is there a feature like a "back button" to go back to what you were previously on? I I noticed if I got into a thread and went off somewhere while in that thread, I needed to hit the home button and start over to get where I was. Not too much hassle on a laptop; however, on a phone, there isn't any other way, or am I just doing it wrong? 🤣 Apologies if I am

    @thebigk Jul 1, 2026

Yes, it's a hassle on the phone. We're solving this in the new site layout where the feed itself will open the details/show page; so no need to go back and forth.
