Bug Fix + Apology 😊

Just about a few hours ago @rambling-rabbit DM'd me that some of the users from old Discord community were not able to sign-up. We've fixed the bug. I wanted to take a moment to inform our community what went wrong.

Back in December 2025, all the communities running on Jatra, the platform that powers this community, were attacked by human spam-farms. Communities would get a 20-50 sign-ups overnight and get flooded with links / ads pointing to e-com websites in SEA.

We have a lot of spam control mechanisms acting behind the scenes that prevent spammers and bots right at the sign-up stage. These mechanisms are good at catching bots and scripts; but catching a human-spammer is a challenge. That's why these spam-farms employ a lot of workers to flood communities, comment sections with links that point to their client websites.

These spam farms make use of compromised servers / computers at different locations throughout the world. Even the safest locations sometimes get added in the IP-ranges used by them.

In order to prevent the spam attack, we added a small 'feature' to annoy the spammers. We identified that almost all of these spammers used Hotmail or Outlook email domains.

Here's how it worked:

If a user signed up using hotmail or outlook domain, we would -

1. Make them wait for 30 seconds. The browser would stop responding.

2. Redirect them to :

...and we did that just to annoy the spammers.

We didn't expect these spam prevention rules would ever trigger for authentic sign-ups.

We have fixed this behavior and now show an error message. Outlook and Hotmail are still banned from signing up. I request you to use Gmail or any other email domain to create an account on new DMT World.

If you wish to sign-up using your hotmail or outlook domain; please let KB know. We'll make a special provision for you.

Cut my somango sweet tooth auto. The plant stunted due to some shock and having it in the red cup for a bit longer than usual. I call this my mental health plant because during the time I have been suffering burnout and dark depression I wasn’t able to get onto anything new. I have been dealing with a heavy work load at my job site and being a sous chef is no joke. Going home I just crash out and burn. Brain fried, no desire to do anything at all nor to take anything to feel better. After a while I have battled to figure out how I can manage everything better alongside with changing my sleep routine. This plant is a reflection of not giving up, in the end it flowered and now it made it to harvest. Going to get some more seeds soon so I can start up a new grow the right way. What I learned from the other plants I lost is making sure I start the plant out in nutrient rich soil like fox farm while using the other soil for mainly transplanting plants into the 5 gallon bags for growing. I usually then top it with the organic fertilizer of my choice. Regardless I’ll be able to stretch out a bag of fox farm starting the plants out with the ability to root in regular potting soil when developed enough.

I know the pics come out a bit sideways but that’s ok, probably just the way our site is formatted. Pink Oyster gourmet project with my old flower looking PE6 grow with a flush of BHT. Just more proof of why I’ll be teaching the usefulness of bag tek. Truly versatile with only the need to change sub. Easy clean up and you can definitely throw the old plastic bags in the recycle bin no problem! I’ll still do some shoebox tek for old time sake but keeping it minimal. Starting with that got me to what I’m at now! 🍄❤️

Nothing but sweet memories here. From my GT low spore ISO project, TAT and Orissa India. Not the first time I have taken long gaps and break period. Thankfully I have everything written down in notes and all that I haven’t had to watch tutorial videos. Most of everything I do is low tek and it simply requires muscle memory. I don’t do LCs or have a big cache of extra equipment I don’t need. Spawn jars are simple, ketchups are far more efficient than petris and using just swabs with my scalpel is all I needed. Keep it low tek and not obvious, you never know when you got to clean up and make your space look like nothings going on lol. More importantly bag technology has came so far that it’s made mycology easier than having to build Monotubs with extra equipment without the need to fan or mist constantly doing unmod tek with shoeboxes. Only time you have to mist is when flushing a bag or block for gourmets that’s been cut open for fruiting! More posts to come!

Feels good to have my name back and profile pic up on here……now it’s time to continue the conversation and educate each other. Though definitely going to educate about safety with the medicines, I can’t emphasize this enough, keep what you do at home, never make $$$ on it, if one wants to make $$ in mycology the gourmet route is the way to go though it’s hard to get established into. Do mycology because you love doing it, there are other ways to make $$$ legitimately but doing it with the fruits isn’t it. Even if you do it out of good intentions it will never be enough for “profits.” Just enough to keep going when helping others. Stay safe and mush love!

Even though I will deeply miss the old site and having to accept the fact that all of my work on there will disappear I’m also positive about the new chapter with this space. Any old pics I have will simply be apart of “The lost Chernobyl files” and will be more or less a “memories” post. My focus now is to integrate everything I have learned but make instructional for new members. Even though I’m disappointed that the psychedelic renaissance has ended in California with major and controversial busts going on it’s forcing me to stay quiet and bury it all. I’m thankful for being a jiu-jitsu athlete and being in a gym that’s positive about this stuff behind close doors has made me feel relieved. Anything project based I’ll be doing won’t be big or major. More or less teaching everyone how to grow personal batches and keeping it hush for our own safety. Mush love family and stay safe, don’t trust just anyone when sharing the good news about natural medicines.
